My top favorite is Hostgator. The generally cost between $7 and $10/mo but they have just about ZERO down time. I never have trouble with them, no lost files, no stolen info, my CC has never been misused or charged incorrectly. To me, they are the best and I recommend them to everyone.

My next favorite is StartLogic. Although they don’t seem to have the strength and stability like Hostgator, they are reasonably priced and if you need help you can usually get it within 12 hr via customer support. Here though they tell you it’s $4.95/mo but in reality it’s it is – if you pay for the whole year at one time. So – good deal. but be ready to flip $55-$60 to start up. Also. you CAN get a free domain name with them for signing up, but ten they have control over it and it’s difficult to move it. – Just a tip.
